Now that we've finally had some nice weather this year, my fiancé and I have spent a lot of time going for walks downtown and taking some hikes at some of our favorite local parks. We recently wandered through Scioto Trails to shoot some photos. We spend every day together, so she already gets her photo taken naturally all of the time (thanks for putting up with that, Molly...), but we went to Scioto Trails this day just so I could shoot some portraits of her. A good friend of mine from New York, Vinny Tullo, sent me a roll of expired film that I had never shot before, Fuji 160S. I know Fuji films have a tendency to really pull out the green tones so I tried to incorporate as much as I could into this roll. I loaded the roll up in my Mamiya RZ67 and had 10 frames to shoot. I was shooting a film stock that I had never used, I overexposed the film due to the expiration of it, and I tried to compose the photos differently than I usually would. Sometimes, it's nice to change things up a bit. These are some of my favorite photos of my gorgeous fiancé and I've received a lot of great feedback on them. So let me know what you guys think of the photos in the comments below! Enjoy.
